A police head constable died in the hospital after receiving critical injuries when a speeding car crushed policemen who were performing their duties at a police picket in Dadu, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Sunday.
The incident took place on the Indus Highway in Dadu. The deceased was deputed at Khairpur Nathan Shah Police Station.
Soon after receiving the report, the rescue team rushed to the spot. The deceased was later identified as Ghulam Shabbir Jamali.
Police and residents of the area expressed their grief and sorrow over the incident. Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) lauded the services rendered by the late policeman.
