A new development has emerged in Pakistan-US naval relations as the American warship USS Wayne E Meyer concluded its two-day visit to Pakistan, 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Sunday.
According to the details, during the stay, the ship’s Commanding Officer met Commander Pakistan Fleet, Rear Admiral Abdul Muneeb, for discussions on matters of mutual interest.
The crew of the American vessel participated in joint training sessions as well as friendly sporting competitions, fostering camaraderie between the two navies.
Personnel from both sides also toured each other’s ships as part of professional exchange activities.
According to officials, the training and sporting events were aimed at strengthening cooperation and enhancing operational skills.
The visit reflected a mutual commitment to maritime security and regional stability.
The USS Wayne E Meyer’s visit further cemented the longstanding naval cooperation between Pakistan and the United States, signaling continued collaboration in safeguarding the seas.
