Pakistani actress Javeria Saud has showered praise on veteran stars Afzal Khan, popularly known as Rambo, Sahiba Rambo and Fazal Hussain for delivering powerful and refreshing performances in the critically acclaimed drama series ‘Mitti De Baway’.
Taking to her Instagram Stories, Javeria shared a glimpse featuring the three actors in their respective roles and applauded them for showcasing a side of their artistry that audiences do not often get to see on mainstream television.
Addressing Rambo, Sahiba and Fazal, she wrote: “Rambo, Sahiba and Fazal, you have proved once again that when talented artists are given strong roles and the right opportunity, they can truly shine. You have shown a completely different side of your talent and made us all so proud. Brilliant performances.”
The veteran on screen couple Rambo and Sahiba have particularly surprised viewers by stepping far outside their familiar glamorous personas to portray traditional bangers in the drama.
Their characters are shown immersed in the cultural setting, with the real-life couple performing traditional songs, clapping along to the music and playing the dhol, bringing an authentic and grounded energy to their roles.
Meanwhile, actor Fazal Hussain portrays the younger version of Baala, their son, during this particular timeline of the story.
