The federal government has constituted a special committee to provide legal assistance to the families of missing persons in matters related to family law, reported 24NewsHD TV Channel.
The committee will provide legal assistance to families for cases which are under investigation by inquiry commission on enforced disappearances.
The relatives of missing persons can approach special committee on issues related to family law. Complaints regarding various facilities including issuance of CNIC/B-Form from NADRA can be sent in writing to the Special Committee.
The complaints can be sent via email (coioed@gmail.com) or WhatsApp (0321-5101070). The hard copies will also be submitted after the electronic registration of the complaint. The family can also meet the Assistant Registrar of the Commission of Inquiry on Enforced Disappearances, Saadia Rashid, at Directorate General Civil Defence Building, Mau Area, Sector G-9/1, Islamabad.
