Hania Aamir has come under fire for sharing 'useless posts' – a drive that many believe is her ongoing attempt to dodge backlash over a reckless bike stunt.
The 27-year-old uploaded a carousel of glamorous photos captioned “he chose dare”, quickly followed by another quirky post asking, “aap kis ki bahu hain?” and hinting that she needed a break.
One frustrated follower blasted her latest upload, writing: “Useless posts! I’m gonna unfollow.” The comment gathered dozens of likes, yet Hania didn’t bother to respond, fueling criticism that she “does not care” about her audience.
The controversy stems from a viral clip that showed Hania recklessly standing and dancing on a moving motorbike without a helmet.
Smiling for the camera, Pakistan’s most-followed celebrity appeared carefree, but the video triggered uproar online, with many accusing her of glorifying dangerous behaviour.
Philanthropist Shaniera Akram, wife of cricket legend Wasim Akram, led the backlash.
In a furious Instagram post, she condemned Hania’s actions: “I have worked for years with hospitals and doctors to promote helmet use in Pakistan. This is like a dagger to my heart. Celebrities have the power to influence millions. It breaks my heart when this is abused.”
Her remarks struck a chord, with social media users quickly rallying behind her.
“True. Hania needs to hold on sometimes; it gets overly cringe,” wrote one.
“Well, Hania thinks she looks nice in this video… while actually she is looking so sick and evil,” another fired back.
A third user praised Shaniera, saying, “Thanks for putting some sense into the mad nation. Always appreciate your and Wasim bhai’s efforts.”
