Jamaat-e-Islami Emir Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman visited flood-affected areas in Pasrur to review the flood situation and express solidarity with flood victims, reported 24NewsHD TV Channel.
On the occasion, JI chief also distributed ration and relief materials to flood-affected people on behalf of Al-Khidmat Foundation.
Talking to media, Hafiz Naeem said he has seen huge losses. He said Al-Khidmat Foundation will continue its relief activities.
Hafiz Naeem said Al-Khidmat Foundation has set up relief camps for flood victims across the country. He said the government should be serious about preventing floods and providing relief to the victims. JI chief said Punjab government should take practical steps instead of photo sessions as they have huge funds. He urged the masses to support the flood victims.
