A delegation of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leaders, including Junaid Akbar, Atif Khan, and Arbab Sher Ali, met National Assembly Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq at Parliament House, the 24NewsHD TV channel reported.

The important meeting took place at the Parliament House cafeteria, where Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) leaders Nafisa Shah and Noor Alam were also present.

During the interaction, journalists questioned Speaker Ayaz Sadiq about the possibility of PTI-government negotiations being revived.

Responding to the query, he said, “I am neither in group three nor in group thirteen; it is up to the government allies and the opposition to decide. As Speaker, it is my duty to maintain good relations with all members.”

Junaid Akbar acknowledged Ayaz Sadiq’s significant role in facilitating political dialogue.

Journalists also asked Junaid Akbar about his reported disagreements with PTI leader Ali Amin Gandapur. He clarified, “I only had a difference of opinion with Ali Amin, which has always been the case. Even with the PTI founder, I sometimes had disagreements. But having different opinions does not mean we have separate groups. We all stand united under the PTI flag.”

As political tensions continue, this meeting has sparked speculation about future negotiations between PTI and the government.
