The Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) has announced the schedule for the much-anticipated 5G spectrum auction, setting March 10, 2026, as the date for the bidding process.
According to the PTA, the timeline has been shared in advance to provide sufficient time for telecom companies to prepare for participation in the auction and complete necessary formalities.
The authority stated that the 5G spectrum auction will be conducted in a transparent and orderly manner to ensure fair competition among operators and to facilitate the timely rollout of next-generation mobile services in the country.
