Lindsay Lohan lit up the streets of New York City on Monday morning as she stepped out in a stylish nod to '90s fashion while promoting her upcoming film Freakier Friday. The 39-year-old actress was spotted outside the Good Morning America studios, channeling iconic movie character Cher Horowitz from Clueless in a pastel yellow and black bouclé tweed mini-dress, complete with high-heel yellow sandals and a matching headband.

Lohan’s fresh, sun-kissed look was praised by fans online after clips from her GMA appearance were shared. While many pointed out her uncanny resemblance to Alicia Silverstone’s character in the 1995 teen classic, others drew comparisons to her own character Hallie Parker from The Parent Trap, with comments like “She’s giving total Parent Trap vibes!!”

The actress was joined by her Freakier Friday co-star Jamie Lee Curtis, 66, as the duo discussed their long-awaited sequel to Disney’s 2003 body-swap hit Freaky Friday, which is set to hit theatres on August 8.

Curtis looked sharp in a pink pantsuit with black heels and revealed that the sequel took time because Lohan, now a mother of a two-year-old son, needed to be the right age to believably play the mother of a teenager. “I wrote to Bob Iger personally,” Curtis shared, explaining how she pitched the idea to the Disney boss.

In the new film, Lohan plays Anna, a music producer engaged to a man with a teenage daughter. When the girls struggle to get along and Curtis’ character Tess remains a meddling mom, the chaos of body-swapping returns.

“It felt like we never stopped,” Lohan said of returning to the role. “We’ve known each other so long and love working together. It didn’t feel like work.”

The actress also shared how her personal life inspired her character: “We know Anna as an angsty teen, but now she’s a mom. Being a mother opens your eyes to a whole new world.”

Freakier Friday promises laugh-out-loud physical comedy, with Lohan embracing her inner Lucille Ball. “Any time I can have a Lucille Ball moment on-screen, I go for it,” she said. “You don’t see many women doing physical comedy like that.”

With nostalgic charm, heartfelt themes, and comic chaos, Freakier Friday is shaping up to be a feel-good hit of the summer.
