Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has summoned a session of the federal cabinet tomorrow (Wednesday) at 3 PM in Islamabad, the

24NewsHD TV channel reported on Tuesday. 

According to sources, the meeting is expected to cover a wide-ranging agenda, focusing on the country’s current economic and political landscape.

The cabinet will assess the country’s current economic challenges and political developments.

The session will also include a comprehensive report on the ongoing monsoon season and its impact across the country, with special attention to disaster response and mitigation strategies.

 The sources added that the cabinet will be presented with an in-depth briefing on the recent developments in Pakistan's tariff-related negotiations and other matters with the United States. 

The high-level huddle is expected to greenlight Pakistan’s first-ever Artificial Intelligence policy, aimed at integrating AI into national development, governance, and innovation frameworks.

The policy, once approved, would mark a significant step toward technological advancement and digital governance.

Additional important decisions may also be taken during the session.
