August 2026 is expected to be a month full of holidays for people in Pakistan.
There could be a total of 12 days off, including two public holidays and 10 regular weekend holidays.
According to the 2026 calendar and the federal government's official holiday notification, Independence Day will be celebrated on Friday, August 14.
As Saturday and Sunday (August 15 and 16) are regular weekly holidays, many people will enjoy a three-day weekend.
The government has also declared Tuesday, August 25, a public holiday for Eid Milad-un-Nabi, giving people another day off later in the month.
Based on the official 2026 holiday calendar, Pakistanis are expected to enjoy 12 holidays in August, making it one of the year's best months for rest, family time and travel.
