A man allegedly ran his tractor over his brother-in-law after the latter forbade him from cutting down a tree in Lodhran, reported the 24NewsHD TV channel on Wednesday.
The tragic incident took place in the Dhunot area of Lodhran. The deceased, who was later identified as Bilal, aged 45, died on the spot, and all the accused escaped from the scene after committing the crime.
Soon after receiving the report, a large contingent of police reached the spot and shifted the dead body to the hospital’s mortuary for post-mortem.
Police said that a case is registered against the culprits and a search operation is underway to arrest them. Police also expressed the hope that all the accused will be arrested soon.
