Bismal Sabri, a renowned poetess and author of Urdu, passed away in Sahiwal on Wednesday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
The deceased was known in the literary world as Ghazal Rani and Sukhun ki Jadugar.
Her literary works such as ‘Pani ka Ghar’, Yadun ki Barish’, ‘Roshniun ke Rang’ and ‘Ras ki Phuwar’ are worth-mentioning.
In 2019, the Punjab Council of the Arts had conferred upon the late poetess Majeed Amjad Majeed Adabi Award.
Bismal was born in Sahiwal on July 17, 1973.
When she grew up, she remained associated with the teaching profession.
Her funeral prayers would be offered at Tariq bin Ziad Colony today in the evening.
