Punjab Education Minister Murad Raas Tuesday announced that summer vacations in the province will start from July 1, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Taking to Twitter, Murad Raas said the summer vacations will start from July 1 till August 1.
He also requested the parents and children to follow the SOPs during the vacations.

Summer vacation for Schools of Punjab to start July 1st, 2021 till August 1st, 2021. In these times of vacation, my request to all the children and their families is to follow SOPs issued by the government.
The NCOC has recommended shorter summer vacations from July 18 to August 1 but has asked the provincial governments to take a decision at their own.
The Federal Education Board has acted upon the NCOC advice and has announced 12-day summer vacations from July 18 to August 1. Director Academic Saadia Adnan has issued a notification in this regard. The school will reopen on August 2.
