Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi visited the Combined Military Hospital (CMH) in Bannu, where he met with soldiers wounded in a recent terrorist attack in North Waziristan.
According to the 24NewsHD TV channel, the cowardly attack, carried out by militants linked to the so-called "Fitna-e-Hindustan", targeted security forces in the region.
During his visit, Minister Naqvi inquired about the condition of the injured soldiers and offered heartfelt prayers for their swift recovery. He praised the soldiers for their exceptional courage and unwavering determination in the face of adversity.
“You are Pakistan’s brave sons,” said Mohsin Naqvi, “and seeing your extraordinary spirit fills our hearts with pride.” He emphasised that the bravery displayed by these soldiers has further strengthened the country’s resolve in its ongoing war against terrorism.
“No enemy can defeat a nation that has such fearless sons,” the minister declared. He reassured the injured personnel that the entire nation stands with them in solidarity, praying for their health and honouring their service.
Accompanying the interior minister on this visit was the Inspector General of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police, Zulfiqar Hameed, who also met with the wounded soldiers and acknowledged their sacrifices for the nation.
