A tragic and mysterious cross-border case has come to light as the bodies of a young Pakistani couple were discovered in India’s Jaisalmer region, 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Sunday.
The deceased, identified as 17-year-old Ravi Kumar, son of Diwan and his wife Bai, daughter of Gulyo, were residents of the village Ghulam Hussain Leghari in Mirpur Mathelo, district Ghotki, Sindh.
According to family members, Ravi had left home following a disagreement with his father.
The last known location traced through his phone showed him in the remote desert area of Kenjho, near the Pakistan-India border.
However, the exact circumstances of how the couple managed to cross into Indian territory remain unknown.
The bodies, believed to be around 6 to 7 days old, were reportedly recovered from Jaisalmer by Indian authorities.
The couple’s family only came to know of their fate through reports circulating on social media.
