Punjab Minister for Education Rana Sikandar Hayat changed the paper checkers and directed them to include temporary teachers for paper checking and invigilance, reported 234NewsHD TV channel on Monday.
According to details, all the intern teachers who are performing their duties in schools and colleges will be eligible for paper checking and invigilation.
The new programme will commence from the next examination session. University graduates, STI, and other qualified persons will be given the required training for this purpose.
Before this, the Punjab government imposed a ban on private teachers from performing their examination-related duties.
