Pakistani actress Mishi Khan is known for her insightful and fearless character, never hesitating to express her viewpoints on any matter.

This time, the lady showed utter disappointment over Saudi Arabia’s model, Rumy Alqahtani, participating in Miss Universe.

Mishi took to her Instagram handle and posted a video of herself in which she strongly criticized the candidate for her "inappropriate" dressing and posing next to the country's flag with a Quranic verse.

“What a shame to hold Kalma this way.”

Khan's stance underscored the importance of respecting religious symbols and the need for greater sensitivity in public displays, especially on such a global platform.

By drawing attention to these actions, she aims to raise awareness and promote a more thoughtful approach towards cultural and religious symbols.

Netizens wholeheartedly supported Mishi and commended the actress for addressing an important issue that deserves attention from many.

It is worth noting that Saudi Arabia made a historic debut at Miss Universe with Rumy Alqahtani.

A 27-year-old model gears up to represent the Kingdom at the prestigious Miss Universe 2024 event in the bustling city of Riyadh.

The decision for Saudi Arabia to officially join the Miss Universe pageant marks a significant departure from its conservative traditions, indicative of the Kingdom's ongoing transformation under the visionary leadership of Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud.
