Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has banned use of red carpet for protocol in all official events, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Friday.

The Prime Minister expressed his displeasure on the use of red carpet in government and other official events.

As per the directions of the prime minister, the use of the red carpets will only be allowed for diplomatic for protocol.
