Data on Afghan students studying in universities and colleges of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has been compiled, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Saturday.
After compiling the data of Afghan students on request of federal government, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has sent details to center.
The compiled data has been sent to the federal government in the relevant format.
According sources in Interior Ministry, currently, 760 Afghan students are studying in colleges and universities of the KP province.
However, work is underway to compile records of Afghan students at the school level.
Sources said about 300,000 Afghan students are studying in government schools of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
There is no systematic record and data of students studying in schools and complete details of Afghan students will come out only after conducting a survey, sources said.
