Rain was received at various places in the Central Region, while drizzly and cloudy weather persists at various places on motorways M-2, M-3, M-11 and national highways, reported the 24NewsHD TV channel on Sunday.
According to spokesperson for Motorways Central Region Syed Imran Ahmed, rain continued in Lahore, Kot Momin, Sial Mor, Pindi Bhatian and Sheikhupura on Motorway M-2.
Rain also continued at several places on Motorway M-3 up to Sharqpur, Nankana, Samundri and Mureedwala.
Further, rain also continued on Lahore-Sialkot Motorway M-11.
Similarly, rain continued in Lahore, Manga Mandi, Pattoki, Okara and Sahiwal on the Central Zone National Highway.
The spokesperson advised the commuters to reduce speed and maintain appropriate distance during rain. Keep lights on in rain and avoid sudden braking and drive very carefully on wet roads.
