The 31st International Poetry Festival was held in Expo Center under the auspices of the residents of Karachi, reported the 24NewsHD TV channel on Sunday.
The poetry festival was named after Aman-e-Alam.
The poetry festival was presided over by prominent poet Iftikhar Arif, while the duties of management were performed by Wajih Sani and Ambrin Haseeb Anbar.
In the literary session, Pirzada Qasim Raza Siddiqui, Anwar Shaor, Khalid Irfan, Wasi Shah, Abbas Tabish, Nasira Zuberi and Sabeen Saif, along with other renowned poets, entertained the audience with their poetry.
The organisers said that the International Poetry Festival has become the identity of Karachi.
The participants said that listening to local and foreign poets live is a memorable experience for those who love literature.
