In a major crackdown against immoral content on social media, the National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) has arrested well-known TikToker Shaham Shahzadi for allegedly sharing obscene and insulting material online.
According to NCCIA officials, Shahzadi's videos contained nudity, vulgar language, and content deemed offensive to religious sentiments and social norms.
Authorities said she had been promoting hate speech and obscenity under the guise of being a woman, which the agency described as "intolerable."
An FIR has been registered against the TikToker, and the agency has recommended strict legal action to ensure deterrence. The arrest is part of NCCIA’s broader campaign to cleanse cyberspace of toxic and immoral content.
The agency has also appealed to the public to play their part by immediately reporting such content. “Morally offensive behavior will not be tolerated on social media,” a spokesperson for NCCIA stated.
