Muneeba Shah Rashidi, daughter-in-law of Nadir Shah Rashidi, brother of spiritual leader of Hurs Pir Sahib Pagara, joined the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) on Saturday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Muneeba announced the decision at the residence of PPP Sindh President Nisar Khuhro in Karachi.
PPP Karachi division General Secretary and Sindh Minister Shaheena Sher Ali was also present on the occasion.
Speaking on the occasion, Khuhro said that he welcomed Muneeba to the PPP.
Muneeba said she had complete trust in the leadership of President Asif Ali Zardari, PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and Faryal Talpur. “I will try my best to make the party more popular among masses.”
Shaheena Sher Ali said that the PPP was the only party, which had played its role in empowering women and had given them representation at every level.
