A disheartened man shot dead his fiancée after she broke off their engagement in Shikarpur, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Saturday.
The girl lost her life, and her father became seriously injured when the young man opened fire on them indiscriminately.
The incident took place in village Somar Jatoi in the jurisdiction of Rustam Police Station in tehsil Khanpur.
The accused escaped from the scene after the incident.
Police said that the accused, Deedar Badani, shot and killed his 17-year-old fiancée, Sabal Khatun Badani while her father received injuries.
Soon after the incident, police rushed to the site and shifted the dead body and injured man to the local hospital.
The police so far failed to register a case for the incident.
