The Government servants Thursday announced protests in front of the Parliament House on the 13th of October for a raise in their salaries, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

The protest will be commenced under the All Government Employees Grand Alliance and employees of federal ministries and departments, divisions along with the unions and associations.

The alliance also announced a march from the Finance Ministry to Parliament House on October 4 and 11 to fulfilment of their demands.

The protesting servants demanded that executive allowances be given to federal employees suffering from salary discrimination and the salaries of grade 1 to grade 16 employees should be increased by 150% as an executive allowance of 150% was given to officers in grades 17 to 22 whereas the upgradation of grades 1 to 16 employees is stalled for the last 8 years.

They also demanded that the 11th February agreement and the 12th April 2021 Establishment Division recommendations be implemented.

House rent, medical and conveyance allowance should be increased by 100%, demanded by the government servants.
