Students of Quaid-e-Azam University (QAU) Islamabad faced severe hardships as the administration locked the transport point due to a protest call by the Baloch Students Council (BSC), reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Monday.
The central library, admin office, and other departments, however, started operations, but the transport and teaching system remained suspended.
Earlier, the teaching process at the University was also disrupted as students faced difficulties due to the unavailability of transport.
The heads of other student organizations distanced themselves from the protest call.
The heads of the Students Council belonged to Punjab, Sindh, Gilgit, Saraiki, and Pushton.
