PML-N President Shehbaz Sharif has said that the news of people committing suicide due to poverty is reflective of the dismal condition of this time.

Paying tribute to his party workers delved in the volunteer and welfare services, he said “It makes God happy when man helps his fellow man.”

“This is the moment we choose to make it our habits to seek God’s blessings by helping His people,” Shehbaz said, and added that the daily wagers and the weak segments of the society are bearing the brunt of the situation emanating from the coronavirus.

“It is unfortunate that people are committing suicides due to poverty,” Shehbaz said and added that “May God be with us, and we seek only His forgiveness.”

In a statement on Friday, he said that these unfortunate incidences like people’s suicides are reflective of the dismal conditions of the times.
