An 8- year boy was set on fire in Bilawal Pinhor village of district Dadu in Sindh by an influential landlord on Saturday.

The landlord set the boy on fire after pouring petrol over him as a punishment for passing through his farm field.

The boy was shifted to Civil Hospital Dadu in a serious condition.

According to doctors, the child has sustained 10% burn injuries.

The relatives of the children have accused the police of demanding a bribe of Rs50000 to register a case against the landlord.
