Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari on Saturday called upon the opposition parties to forge unity in their ranks in order to face the government, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Addressing a press conference in Khairpur, Bilawal Bhutto said today every Pakistani was in trouble because of this government’s policies.

He said it was up to the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) to decide who will be the party’s head. “We are not interested in other party’s affairs,” he stated categorically.

Bilawal said staying in touch with the opposition leader in any legislature was a must; be it Shehbaz Sharif in the National Assembly or Hamza Shehbaz in the Punjab Assembly.

The PPP chairman rubbished the reports of any bad blood between his party and the PML-N.

Regretting that the PPP was being accused by the PML-N of striking a deal with the ‘establishment’, Bilawal asked the politicians not to indulge in blame game.

However, at the same time, he, while addressing the PML-N, said that the PPP knew fully well how to respond to the allegations levelled against it.  Bilawal made it clear that the Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM), an alliance of opposition parties, had been made so that every party could have an equal say in its decision-making and there should be unity in its ranks.

Counselling the PML-N to stay cool, he said politics of ‘do or die’ was not always the best option.
