CTD foils terror bid, arrests two terrorists in Karachi

The Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) personnel have arrested two terrorists from Manghopir area in Karachi on Wednesday and recovered weapons and explosives from their possession, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

SSP CTD Investigation Unit Fida Hussain told media men that the arrested terrorists were planning to launch a terror attack in the city on the eve of Eid.

The arrested terrorists were identified as Salman Shah and Mir Ali Shah.

Explosives and weapons were recovered from the possession of the terrorists.

SSP CTD further said that a case had been registered against the arrested terrorists while further investigation was underway.
