Pakistan has decided to restart the corona rapid test (CRT) of passengers at all international airports to avoid the spreading of a new variant of the corona—Omicron.

According to the 24News HD TV channel, the government has a fear of spreading a new type of Corona Omicron in the country through passengers coming from abroad.

So, the government had taken a decision of full screening of passengers coming from abroad after getting the final approval from the National Command Operation Center (NCOC).

As per the decision, the rapid test would be administrated for the passengers arriving from Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates (UAE), Dubai, Sharjah, Abu Dhabi, Iran, and Iraq.
