In a weird development, the police have released a rooster that was arrested besides three men over a cock-fight in Sayadpur, a place near Ghotki.

The cock belonged to Fida Hussain, a resident of Malik Obaro who had filed a request to the civil judge for the release of the cock.

After hearing the arguments of the lawyer, the civil judge Mirpur Mathelo released the cock on-personal surety worth 10,000 rupees.

Earlier, the Ghotki police had arrested three men and the cock for their alleged involvement in the cock-fight. Then, under a reported deal, the accused men were released leaving the cock behind bars.
