A citizen approached the Consumer Protection Court in Karachi after he found a DHA Karachi dog-seller tricked him by selling a common breed puppy to him instead of Shih Tzu breed, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Wednesday.

The consumer filed an application in the court of Judge Mukesh Kumar of CPC after he took the dog to his home where it occurred to him that he was deceived by the dog-seller.

The owner of the dog said, “I bought the dog and then took him to my house. But only then I realized this was not a Shih Tzu breed dog for which I paid as it is a common dog. Even his weight is more than usual and he eats a lot,” the petitioner pleaded.

The name ‘Shih Tzu’ means little lion.
