Naveed, the accused of firing on PTI Chairman and former prime minister Imran Khan, underwent a polygraph test and the forensic report could not detect falsity of his statement, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Tuesday.

The Joint Investigation Team (JIT) investigating the assassination attempt received the polygraph testing report.

The forensic science laboratory did not add its comment to the polygraph test and, according to sources, marked the report with “No Opinion” and forwarded it to the JIT.

Besides Naveed, three other accused also underwent the polygraph test. Naveed in his statement had stated that he had carried out the attack on his own and nobody told him to do so, which has apparently been proved by the polygraph test report.
