Federation does not favour giving funds to Sindh: CM Sindh

Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah has said that the federation does not favour giving funds to Sindh as this is a constitutional right of the province, reported 24News HD TV channel on Saturday.

He was addressing an inaugural ceremony of a 3.5 Km road in Karachi, from Saood Abad Chorangi to Thado Nala. The road has been constructed at the expense of Rs1218 million. 

The CM said the federal government was not giving any funds for Karachi and just misguiding the people regarding it. He said that this was the third project of the Sindh government for the development of Karachi in 10 months which was inaugurated today. He said the project was supposed to be inaugurated by Bilawal Bhutto Zardari but he could not come due to busy schedule.

The CM said his government was at the forefront of service and they were demonstrating it. He said along with the road, trees had also been planted, seating areas had been created, water lines and sewerage lines have also been laid in it.

He said, "It is very easy to work from the top, it disappears after a few days of pretense. We want the population to take full advantage of these projects and consider them part of their home and take care of them."

The CM said that the PPP considered Pakistan it's home, adding that his government had allocated Rs436 billion for development works in Karachi. 

the CM said they would be doing public service according to the philosophy of Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto, Benazir Bhutto, Asif Ali Zardari as PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto. 

He said that PPP would win the next general election. He said that inquiries had been started against those who had occupied the parks of Karachi. He further said the government would give plots to the affectees of Gujar Nala.
