The Senate was told on Thursday that the government had yet to start work on the construction of low-cost homes, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Ministry for Housing told the House that PHA Foundation had so far built homes and apartments for the federal and provincial governments’ employees.

Meanwhile, it dawned upon the senators on Thursday that Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) had to suffer the loss of Rs7.9 billion due to flights’ disruption during the last six months following the minister for aviation’s statement on Pakistani pilots holding fake licences.

Ministry of Aviation told the House that flights’ operation to six countries still remained suspended while Civil Aviation Authority had suspended the licences of 14 pilots.
