Prices of essential items start decreasing due to govt’s measures: Parvez Elahi

Acting Punjab Governor Ch Parvez Elahi has said that prices of essential commodities have started decreasing due to the measures of the government.

He said, “Federation and Punjab’s ally governments will take all possible measures for providing relief to the people, all opposition should the government in peoples’ welfare projects.”

The acting governor was talking to Punjab Law Minister Muhammad Basharat Raja who called on him at the Governor’s House here on Tuesday.

Both the leaders discussed Punjab Assembly’s proposed March 9 session agenda and exchanged views about legislation.

Ch Parvez Elahi said Muslims genocide in India and occupied Kashmir and oppression are condemnable and shameful, reaction of Iran and other countries of the world against Indian government measures is important, international community should stop Modi government from committing atrocities on Muslims living in India and occupied Kashmir.

He further said that after Gujarat, Narendra Modi is writing new history of oppression in Delhi, Pakistan Government is fully exposing Indian atrocities, international community should also notice of the Indian atrocities in occupied Kashmir.

Provincial Law Minister Raja Basharat also consulted Ch Parvez Elahi over discussion in the House about Orange Line fare. He said that during the session, all parties input will be welcomed about Orange Line fare and hear all political parties’ suggestions with open heart.
