Minister’s relatives booked in fake marriage certificate case

Bahawalnagar police on Sunday registered a case against the family members of provincial minister Mian Shaukat Ali Laleka on charges of preparing a fake marriage certificate to grab the inherited land of their relatives, reporter 24NewsHD TV Channel.

According to details, victim Haji Mohammad, a resident of Chak Qalandar Bodla, launched a complaint with the Bahawalnagar police against provincial minister’s relatives for preparing a fake marriage certificate of one of their dead relative Shah Muhammad.

Following the complaint, the police registered a case against provincial minister’s relative and former Union Council chairman Mian Umar Zaman Laleka and six others for trying to grab 13.3 acres of land deceitfully. No further action against the accused was taken by Sunday evening.
