Violators of constitution will be held accountable: Hamza

Deplores who wanted to create Medina state, they are evading accountability in Tosha Khana gifts affair: Vows no political revenge while asserting law will take its natural course

Punjab Chief Minister Hamza Shehbaz has lashed out at the PTI stalwarts warning them that they will have to pay dearly for violating the law and constitution while denouncing those who wanted to create Median state but have refused to divulge the details of Tosha Khana gifts, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

The Punjab chief minister was talking to media on Tuesday during his visit to Darul Shafqat and Children’s Hospital, Lahore where he distributed gifts and Eidi among children. 

He said that those who had violated the law and constitution, they would be held accountable. He also stated that the liars who touted to shape Pakistan on the model of Medina state, they were trying to evade accountability in the Tosha Khana gifts affair.

“Those who took political revenge on their opponents, they are not giving account of Tosha Khana gifts,” he added.

“The law will determine its own course. No revenge will be exacted,” Hamza vowed asserting that playing with the sentiments of people and giving them false hopes was a national crime.

He censured the previous rulers for ruining every sector of economy. He lamented that now the economy was in tatters. 

“If the wheel of economy chugs, then the wheel of politics will keep going,” Hamza stated vowing that the PML-N government would work for the welfare of people with sincerity.
