Islamabad Police organize two-day road safety workshop at Pakistan Railways HQ

The Islamabad Police Education Wing with volunteers organised a two-day workshop on road safety and careful driving at the Pakistan Railways Headquarters.

According to a press release, more than 40 drivers and other staff attended the workshop.

The Railways administration praised the initiative launched on the special instructions of Islamabad Police Inspector General Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi.

Safet steps including refraining from using phones during driving, use of seatbelts, zebra crossings, overhead bridges and helmets during bike riding and speeding hazards were highlighted at the moot.

SSP Traffic Muhammad Sarfraz said that the special teams have been organizing awareness lectures on traffic rules and road safety for students and citizens in various public and private institutions and roads. Certificates were also distributed to the participants.
