Kidnapped man burnt alive in Karachi

A kidnapped man was burnt alive by his unidentified kidnappers in Karachi.

According to details, unidentified armed men kidnapped Khair Muhammad, a resident of Etihad Town, and subjected him to severe physical torture. Later, they sprinkled petrol on him and set him ablaze at a local graveyard.

After hearing his screams, passers-by and local people rushed to the graveyard. By the time people reached the scene, the assailants had escaped and the man was on fire. People doused the fire, but most part of his body had burnt by then. He died on way to the hospital later.

Police said the man lived near Afridi Chowk in Etihad Town. Officials said they have registered a case and launched an investigation into the incident.
