Weather pundits have forecast Monsoon currents are penetrating lower southern parts of the country as a result of which rain-wind, thundershowers are expected in Sindh and eastern Baluchistan. On the other hand, isolated heavy rainfall is likely in lower Sindh.

According to experts since the start of the Monsoon season, average rainfall has been reported and there is hardly any possibility that previous records would be crossed before the winter rainfall season begins.

According to the Met Office, hot and dry weather would prevail elsewhere in the country. Similar weather conditions would continue for the next 24 hours.

In Punjab, different areas of the provincial capital city received rainfall including  (Nishtar Town 22 millimeters, Johar Town 20, WASA Office, Gulberg 03, Upper Mall 01). In Sindh: Islamkot 50, Badin 27, Karachi (Sarjani 18, Orangi 11, Masroor Base 10, Nazimabad 05), Nagarparker 15, Diplo 14, Mithi 03, while in Balochistan: Barkhan 10, Lasbella 04, Sibbi and Kohlu 02.
