Vaccine centres will remain open on May 1, Labour Day, an annual holiday to celebrate the achievements of workers.
According to sources, the authorities concerned took the step to facilitate covid patients. However, the insiders said these centres will not open on May 13,14,15 on account of Eidul Fitr. The registration of healthcare workers will continue till May 31.
Last week, the coronavirus positivity rate stood at 10.90% across the country the National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC) revealed. It added at least 53,818 coronavirus tests were conducted across the country, out of which 5,870 came back positive.
