Anchor Dr Fiza Akbar appeared on Hafiz Ahmed’s podcast and talked about her viral crying video.

A few months back, Dr Fiza Akbar did a special show from the Line of Control on the 14th of August.

She also got to meet soldiers who are posted on the frontline.

She cried there and her video went viral all over social media as she was trolled for the way she was crying.

During the conversation in the podcast, she talked about that particular incident saying she was present at the Line of Control and she experienced how difficult it was to climb up as it took one complete hour to climb.

“It was a 12-hour long journey and we were tired we just stayed 2 hours in between and after fajr we continued”, she said.

“When I reached the top I saw there was Pakistan’s flag flying in the air while all the soldiers were there singing patriotic songs so I just thought that because of them we are safe in our homes and can sleep without any tension. I tried to control but I can’t and started crying due to emotional attachment with our country and our flag”, she added.

Fiza did not realize and went to another state of mind and that moment was captured and went viral.

She challenged the host that any Pakistani including him would feel the same if they got to go there.

Dr Fiza Akbar is a news anchor who rose to fame in the last few years due to her strong programs and analysis of current affairs.

She was a pharmacist by education and later on started working in the media.

She has worked on different channels and is currently busy conducting a prime-time show on Bol News.
