Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur Tuesday urged the Chief Election Commissioner to stop blackmailing him, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Addressing to media at the Sports Complex in Peshawar, he said that he is ready to talk with the establishment for the sake of Pakistan.

Gandapur demanded the federal government release a Rs 460 billion share of the KP under war and terror.

He said that he was pleading the rights of the province with the federation and would continue in the larger interest of the people.

“We are not beggars and demanding our rights only,” he uttered.

“The federal government should reconsider our request. We will take the province’s share from the center in any case.”

The CM also demanded the Election Commission of Pakistan to give reserved seats to the Sunni Ittehad Council.

He recalled that there was peace during the PTI government and held PDM responsible for the recent unrest in the country.

KP Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur said that Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is being criticized for electricity theft.

“If the people of KP are stealing electricity, PESCO officials are also involved in it.”

He lamented that the federation is earning Rs 300 billion annually from KP under the head of tobacco production while the province is being given only Rs 5 per kg profit on tobacco.

He also apricated sports activities for madrasah students.

“Sports competitions have also been organized for special children,” he said, adding that the govt will fully support the children who make the name of the country famous at the international level.
