Lahore Qalandars will take on defending champions Islamabad United in the 19th match of Pakistan Super League X at Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore tonight (Wednesday), reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
The match will start at 8:00 pm.
Islamabad United have added more firepower to their already dominant squad, signing hard-hitting domestic batter Mohammad Faiq for the ongoing PSL X.
The franchise announced the signing on April 29 through their social media, aiming to strengthen their batting line-up in pursuit of a historic fourth title.
The 28-year-old has been making waves in the domestic circuit with his aggressive and consistent run-scoring, and he’s no stranger to big knocks under pressure.
With Islamabad United sitting pretty at the top of the table, five wins from five matches, the inclusion of someone like Faiq only adds to their arsenal.
The Shadab Khan-led side is set to take on Lahore Qalandars later today in their second clash of the season. United had comfortably won the first meeting on April 11 with an eight-wicket hammering at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium.
