According to sources, the price of petrol is likely to increase by Rs 4 while the price of high-speed diesel is likely to increase by Rs 15.
The price hike is likely to be announced today as tomorrow is a holiday on May 1. Amid US-Iran war and tension at Strait of Harmuz, oil prices are continuously rising in global market.
Meanwhile, on the other hand, the OGRA spokesperson has said that petroleum dealers association has not announced strike and fake news about the alleged strike of petroleum dealers is circulating on social media.
The Petroleum Division has also said that there is no truth in the news of closure of petrol pumps from May 1, the supply of petroleum products will continue uninterrupted.
