As many as 40 capsules filled with cocaine have been recovered from the stomach of an accused at Sialkot Airport who was leaving for Saudi Arabia on Umrah pilgrimage, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Saturday.
According to Anti-Narcotics Forces (ANF), about 230 grams of cocaine has been recovered from the capsules.
During the action, ANF arrested two members of an international drug trafficking gang at the airport.
On the accused’s identification, his accomplice was also arrested from the airport parking lot.
The accused was shifted to the hospital and the capsules filled with drugs were recovered.
It is shameful to use the holy journey of Umrah for drug trafficking.
