The Supreme Court (SC) on Saturday issued an important proforma for submission to the apex court in murder and other criminal cases, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Under the new arrangement, from now onwards, parties to the case will have to jot down all details of the case on paper before submitting it to the apex court.
The details include the FIR number, the police station, names of the accused, their ages, the date on which they were arrested, decisions by a trial court as well as a high court, the day on which the post-mortem was conducted and others.
The purpose of the exercise is to make it easier for judges to determine the importance of a case.
